The Oujda Natural Language Processing team (Oujda-NLP Team) is one of the research teams that make up the Computer Science Research Laboratory at the Faculty of Science, Mohammed I University, Kingdom of Morocco. The team was established in 2006 to contribute to the development of linguistic resources, tools and applications necessary for processing the Arabic language.

The complementarity of the specializations of the Oujda-NLP Team members (computer science, mathematics and Arabic language sciences) and its partnerships with the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology and Mohammed I University, allowed the team to develop highly efficient tools and applications based on the morphological and syntactic characteristics of the Arabic language, and through the use of artificial intelligence algorithms and statistical methods.
