The Laboratory of Computer Research (LaRI) was established in 1999 as a part of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the Faculty of Sciences, Mohammed First University (UMP) in Oujda, Morocco.

LaRI concentrates its research efforts on two primary domains: a specialized team engaged in parallel computing and another dedicated to the advancement of automatic spoken language processing.
